Surge arrestor for outdoor WLAN installations
Outdoor wireless networks are particularly exposed to many environmental effects that can impair their functionality. This is why protecting the WLAN components used is a top priority. Even in the case of partial discharges, lightning strikes or other electrostatic processes can damage the sensitive WLAN modules of the access points through overvoltages, despite external protective measures. Mounted between the access point and the antenna, the AirLancer SurgeProtect provides professional surge protection for outdoor installations with a LANCOM outdoor WLAN antenna (ON).
